“It was helpful explaining my issues with someone of my own gender and the exercises that were used I am still using today have given me clarity and closure. I would recommend Andrew very highly.”
About Andrew
Hello, name is Andy and I am a fully qualified counsellor specialising in adult individual therapy. I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can openly discuss your concerns. Whether you are facing challenges at work, struggling with relationships and sexual problems, or dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma, my goal is to help you rediscover your unique strengths so you can live your life to the fullest.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is fundamental to meaningful change. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, ensuring each journey is personalised to meet your specific needs. I integrate various therapeutic models, including elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to help you move forward by challenging and reframing unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours.
As a therapist, I am committed to empowering you to connect with your inner strength. While I primarily focus on your present experiences to build healthy coping mechanisms, we can also explore past events to build greater self-awareness and self-compassion. You can expect a warm, non-judgemental environment where we work collaboratively towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
I maintain the highest ethical standards as an accredited member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP). I welcome diversity and have extensive experience working with individuals from all backgrounds, including those with neurodiverse needs.

In addition to my clinical training, I bring 25 years of experience working within government organisations and leadership roles.
