About Cesare
Hello, my name is Cesare Saguato and I am an NHS-trained Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. I provide a warm, safe, and supportive space where we can explore your thoughts and develop the self-awareness needed to move towards a more fulfilling life. My approach is holistic, meaning I consider how your mind, body, and environment influence your lived experience, ensuring you feel understood and supported throughout our work together.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the catalyst for growth. Whether you are looking to make specific, defined changes or wish to engage in a more open exploration of your current challenges, I tailor our sessions to suit your unique needs. By drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and Mindfulness-based methods, I provide a structured yet flexible environment to help you meet life's difficulties with greater clarity and resourcefulness.
In our sessions, you aren't expected to share everything at once; we will proceed at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I am committed to following your lead while providing the empathic and confidential space necessary for change. Together, we will focus on your specific goals, helping you implement strategies to relate differently to both your inner thoughts and the outer world.

Background and experience
I have over 15 years of experience working across a diverse range of settings, including the NHS, colleges, workplaces, and private practice. As a registered member of the BACP and the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA), I stay at the forefront of evidence-based practice. My background also includes working as a Clinical Supervisor, where I support other therapists in their professional development.
In addition to my clinical counselling work, I am a qualified mindfulness and compassion teacher. I have delivered extensive workshops and courses on mental health awareness and self-compassion across the public, private, and charity sectors. This varied experience allows me to help clients navigating complex issues such as trauma, burnout, domestic abuse, and identity crises, as well as those experiencing a loss of purpose following major life events like redundancy or bereavement.
