About Daniella
Hello, I’m Daniella, a warm and experienced therapist dedicated to helping you navigate life's challenges. My approach to psychotherapeutic counselling prioritises the relationship we build together, as I believe a genuine and compassionate connection is the foundation for meaningful healing. I offer a down-to-earth and confidential space where you can safely explore your thoughts without judgment.
I understand that reaching out for support can be daunting and requires significant strength. Having experienced therapy myself during my training, I can relate to the nerves and apprehension you might feel. My goal is to ensure you feel truly heard and supported from our very first session, helping you move away from managing painful emotions in isolation.
In our work, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques whenever they can provide practical value. By breaking down complex challenges into manageable steps, we can address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. This structured element of my practice is designed to give you the tools and confidence needed to make lasting changes to your day-to-day wellbeing.
I also find clients respond well to Compassion Focused Therapy and can often use elements to help normalise some of the feelings and thoughts you might be experiencing. This can help you feel more in control of your emotions.

How I can help
I will provide a supportive and confidential space where we can safely explore difficult thoughts and feelings, helping you gain clarity and perspective.
I'll use integrated, evidence-based CBT techniques to break down challenges you're experiencing, into manageable steps to enable you to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
I'll help you develop practical strategies to manage anxiety, depression and stress, equipping you with effective coping mechanisms for lasting change.
Together, we will work collaboratively to build your self-esteem and foster kinder, more compassionate self-talk, with less noise from the inner critic, empowering you to cultivate healthier relationships with yourself and others.
I'll sensitively guide you to identify, then reduce self-sabotaging behaviours, so you can achieve your personal goals and improve your overall well-being.
We'll collaborate on setting clear, achievable goals, ensuring you gain the tools and confidence needed to make meaningful and lasting improvements in your life.
