About Claire
Hello, my name is Claire and I am a fully qualified therapist dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity. My approach is rooted in providing a warm, safe, and non-judgemental environment where you feel truly heard. By combining person-centred therapy with evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, I tailor our sessions to suit your unique needs and goals.
Whether you are facing negative patterns, self-esteem issues, or emotional distress, I aim to create a supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process; together, we will work to foster self-discovery and personal growth, helping you gain the fresh perspectives needed to facilitate lasting change.
I am passionate about helping you understand your emotions and break unhelpful cycles. By exploring both the past and the present, we can work towards healthier relationships with yourself and others, ensuring you feel empowered to manage stress, anxiety, and depression more effectively.

Background and experience
I hold a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). Since 2015, I have specialised in supporting individuals and couples across a diverse range of settings, including private practice, schools, and specialist drug and alcohol recovery services. My professional journey has also seen me collaborate closely with social services and provide outreach support for individuals managing complex mental health challenges such as psychosis.
Prior to my career in counselling, I served as a managing director for various organisations, leading large teams and developing company strategies. This background in leadership has sharpened my ability to offer structured guidance and support. I continue to engage in regular clinical supervision and continuous professional development (CPD) to ensure I provide the highest standard of evidence-based care to my clients.
